1. Because it is theoretically impossible to return an electronic book without guarantee that it hasn't been downloaded for future use, we do not offer refunds. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us before you purchase an e-book at service@ellorascave.com

2. EC's e-publishing division sells downloadable formats only. We do not sell our printed titles here. If you wish to purchase an EC title in print, you must visit www.amazon.com or your local bookstore with the print title's ISBN number (also found on amazon.com). When you purchase an e-book from EC you are stating that you are fully aware of the fact that the download link will be sent to you via email and not printed or on CD. You are legally permitted to copy the download onto CD or floppy yourself for your own personal use.

3. We do NOT replace e-books in the event of a hard drive crash. It is the responsibility of the customer to save them onto disk or CD. We do not make exceptions under any circumstances.

4. We do NOT exchange e-books previously purchased in one format with another format. We do not make exceptions under any circumstances.

5. It is ILLEGAL to send an e-book to a person who did not pay for the copy or to post a copy of an e-book anywhere on the internet or offline for public consumption. By purchasing an EC e-book you are legally swearing not to take part in any of the aforementioned illegal practices. We realize the temptation is there to do so, but please remember that the author loses out monetarily every time this is done. Think how you would feel if you were the author in question trying to carve out a career in writing, then act accordingly. Please note the fact that EC has, does, and will continue to prosecute e-book thieves. If you know of someone who is distributing e-books illegally report it here.
